Once on the mat, something magical happens. Muscle memory takes over, the resistance fades, and I begin to flow through the asanas. It’s like returning to a beloved sanctuary, a space where I reconnect with myself.
And even if the practice itself is challenging, I always emerge feeling immensely grateful. I’ve gifted myself time for movement, presence, and self-care. It’s a feeling that transcends any initial resistance, a reward well worth overcoming those pesky excuses.
